Roundtable Discussion

"Dynamics of Dating: Part II"

(for girls 14-17, their parents and leaders/advisors)

Girl Scouting’s role in responding to sensitive issues is educational and informative in nature. Girl Scout Council of the Mid-South understands that the reality of girls’ lives is that they are bombarded with information about and/or situations that include sensitive issues. As an organization that is committed to helping girls grow strong, we must be relevant and responsive to their needs.

The previous STUDIO 2B Roundtable Discussion, "Dynamics of Dating," ignited conversation about tweens and teens and human sexuality, and the need for more information. In response, Girl Scout Council of the Mid-South has organized a team of professionals to help girls, parents and Girl Scout leaders/advisors gain knowledge about important health and body issues, make informed decisions and understand potential outcomes.

When: Saturday, October 23, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Lunch on your own)

Where: Girl Scout Program/ Training Center, 1931 Dorrie Lane, Memphis.
