However you choose to get involved, you will provide direction to help girls make important decisions down the road. Don’t forget to pause and enjoy the surprises and benefits along the way.

Adults over the age of 18 - female and male - who are committed to helping girls grow strong are welcome, regardless of racial, ethnic, religious or socio-economic background. We offer a wide array of ways to volunteer. Having Girl Scout leaders is vital; however, so are many other volunteer positions. For the safety of the girls and the integrity of the Girl Scout program, volunteers complete a volunteer application and a review, selection and appointment process, which may include a reference check and interview.

When you are a Girl Scout volunteer, you not only provide for girls directly or indirectly – you will also have the opportunity to gain personal benefits and recognition.

All we ask you to provide is your knowledge, experience, energy and enthusiasm. The council provides training and resources.
