Girl
Scout Council of the Mid-South is hosting, Girl
Scouts: Helping Girls Succeed community information
events throughout our 10 county area.
A
Girl Scouts: Helping
Girls Succeed event is a free one-hour introductory
event that is designed to educate and inspire people about
Girl Scouting. These
events are designed to dispel the myth that Girl Scouts
are just about cookies, crafts and camp.
Guests
get the opportunity to learn about our vision, mission,
girls served, the Girl Scout program and benefits.
Donations are not solicited at these events.
Guests who are invited and attend these events are
then invited to attend an “Ask Event” – Strong
Girls Build
Strong Futures, to learn more about Girl Scouting and
possibly make a contribution to the council to help girls
grow strong. For
more information about attending one of these events,
contact the fund development director.
